Kit-level control without a spreadsheet

A rental house runs on trust, and trust is easier to keep when the record is unambiguous.

  • Serial numbers per body and lens

Two copies of the same lens are two records. You always know which serial went out, on which job and to whom.

  • Condition photos at both ends

Photograph the glass and the body at check-out and check-in. A mark that appears between the two is documented rather than argued over.

  • Kits that go out complete

Body, lens, batteries, cards, cage and cables are booked as one set and checked back against the same list.

  • Deposits and client records

Hold a deposit, keep the client's documents and hire history, and flag the ones who make a habit of coming back late.

  • Your agreement, signed on screen

Your terms and your liability wording, filled from the booking and signed before the kit leaves the counter.

  • Booking without the midnight messages

Freelancers check availability and book from your site instead of messaging you at one in the morning to ask what is free.

Value and fragility

The difference between a mark and a claim is a photograph

On a twelve-thousand-dollar lens, "it was like that when I collected it" is an expensive sentence. Check-out and check-in photos sit on the same rental as the signed agreement and the deposit. When something is genuinely damaged, the file your insurer asks for already exists.

  • Paired check-out and check-in photos
  • Serial number on every line of the rental
  • Signed agreement stored against the booking
  • Damage recorded on the unit's own history

Utilisation

Which body is earning and which is decoration

Rental houses buy on instinct and find out two years later whether they were right. Days on hire, revenue and repair spend per unit make that a decision instead of a feeling. The adapter that has been out twice since you bought it stops being a mystery.

  • Days on hire and revenue per unit
  • Repair spend against the same body
  • Compare identical units before buying another
  • Items in for service drop out of availability

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle insurance certificates?

No. This is not an insurance product and it does not collect or verify certificates. What it does give you is the trail insurers ask for: the signed agreement, the serial numbers, the condition photos and the deposit record, all on the same rental.

Can I stop a kit going out incomplete?

Build the kit once, body, lens, batteries, cards and cables, and it goes out and comes back as one set. The check-in runs against the same list, so a missing battery is noticed at the counter rather than a week later.

We do same-day hires and month-long shoots.

Rates can be hourly, daily or weekly with your own minimum periods and cut-off times. A hire can be extended in place when a shoot overruns, so the record and the balance stay in one piece.

Can freelancers book without calling?

Yes. The booking widget shows live availability on your own site and takes a deposit or the full amount at checkout, and the booking arrives on your desk as a normal order.

What does it cost?

Start is $8 a month with annual billing, Business is $20 and Pro is $35. The seven-day trial has everything switched on and does not ask for a card.
